The
Discovery of AllTime
The
discovery of the expanding universe by Edwin Hubble in the late 1920's
led to the Big Bang theory. As science became more convinced that the
Big Bang was the hypothesis that best fit the data, the debate shifted
from if there was a big bang
to when it took place.
In
13.7B 1998 Chris Hardman, Artistic Director of Antenna Theater began to
think about how the theater should deal with the (then) upcoming
millennium celebration. How could we re-envision the
millennium? The answer came in the form of a question, "Why
celebrate only 2000 years when there is so much more to time? Why
not celebrate all of time?"
At
that moment the idea of AllTime was born.
